2 months late with Homecomings, when will they foreclose?

April 15, 2008

JUST BECAME 2-MONTHS LATE,HAD A HARDSHIP IN LATE LAST YEAR AND PAYMENTS WERE LATE AND THEY TALKED ABOUT FORECLOSURE, BUT I BORROWED FROM MY 401K AND BROUGHT UP TO DATE. ASKED FOR A REFINANCE OR ANY TYPE OF HELP FOR A LITTLE WHILE ON THIS LOAN AND NONE AT ALL!! MY SISTER HAD CANCER AND I HELPED HER FINANCIALLY AND MY WORK PLACE HAS SLOWED DOWN AND I'M NOT GETTING THE SAME HOURS AS BEFORE AND MY GROSS ISN'T THE SAME. THIS IS REALLY HARD FOR US AND EMBARRASSING ALSO. NEED SOME HELP FOR MY SITUATION, BUT NOT FOR A LONG TERM.

They filed FC on me at 80 days deliquent. I thought they would wait til it was at least 90 days. So if I was you I'd try to make a payment asap..

I too have been through the hoops with this company. I am not quite 60 days past due and have faxed them (twice) all the mod. info. they have requested. They keep saying they never received the fax. The phone calls are constant and today I received a threat of FC and the threat of physical visits to see if I am living here.

We were only one month behind on our adjustable rate payment when I tried to get them to modify our loan and all they did was give me the run-around! I couldn’t believe it when the guy on the phone (he was a big jerk!) actually said that my family shouldn’t eat so much because then we would spend less on groceries and would have more money to make our mortgage payment! He also said we should get a cheaper car and a bunch of other stuff that was really rude. This whole thing was keeping me up at night worrying about what was going to happen to us. I told my friend at work about this and she said I should call the loan modification company that got her loan modified down to 3.25% fixed interest rate! I finally decided to call them, and in about 45 days they got my interest rate down to 3.85% on a fixed rate too! The company is First American Financial Group and we are really happy with what they did for us. The website is theloanmodfacts.com. We chose them because they didn’t make a bunch of promises like some of the other companies and they had a 100% money back guarantee. I hope this helps some other people fighting with their loan company!

I have also had a lot of probs from asc. They told me to make 3 payments in a row and they would put the 2 payments I was behind at the back of the loan and do a loan modification to get my intrest lower and I wouldnt have a payment for 4 months to help to get caught up. I gave them 3 post dated checks and they said I needed to fill paperwork out for it. They had already did all the paperwork on the phone and said that was all I needed. They never did the modification. They will probably foreclose very soon. I think Obama and the rest of the people in DC need to get their priorities straight and do something for the American people instead of crooked businessmen that put them in their position. He could of gave every legal citizen 250,000 to pay all debts and not spent nearly the money he did with the bailouts. Someone needs to do something that will help the masses not the few.
