We have never been more than 30 days latre with Countrywide
Our home in GA has been on the market since Sept 2006. It has also been listed as Lease/Purchase and for Rent for the past 6 months with no offers. We moved to SC in Nov 2006 due to my job and purchased another home fully expecting our home in GA would sell, which it has not. In Nov 2007 we gave birth to twins which now causes us the inability to afford to carry the home in GA due to childcare costs. We have never been more than 30 days late on our mortgage on the home in GA, nor on the home in SC. We need to know what our best options are on the home in GA to preserve our credit as much as possible. We do not have any assets (liquid or otherwise) to afford monthly payments or any significant settlement amount.
