I was not notified of the Sale Date, can Citi Mortgage do that?
February 01, 2008
We were not notified of a date of sale. WE found out because someone came to our house. We had excellant credit and things got behind we we got separated and then I got breast cancer again and am having to make numerous trips out of town and that contributed to falling behind. The divorce has been put on hold for now. The regular payment w/ taxes and insurance added in is 979 and We definitely can do that . we just can;t do the 1450 that is not the payment from being behind.

I just recently found out that my home had been sold back in February, 2009. I was not notified by Citimortgage that this had taken place. My husband died a year ago, and I had been trying to get a loan modification. I sent in the paperwork for the loan modification back on January 14, 2009. I recently found out that my home was sold at a Trustee's sale on February 19, 2009. I was not notified of this sale. First of all, is this legal for them to sell my home while I am in negotiations to do a loan modification? Now we have been served with an unlawful detainer. I recently, within the last week have found some financing to help me pay what was due from the time of the loan modification to present, but I was told by an attorney who is handling this for Citimortgage that they will not accept the money, that I should move now. What should I do? I found out this morning that they have filed no more paperwork on me at the court house,so I am going there to fill out an answer packet and then hopefully I will find out what my current options are and how long I have to actually stay in my home. The sad part of all of this, is that I now have the funding to get caught up on my loan, and they won't accept it. What should I do?
I have been trying to get a loan modification with your company and my loan number is 2003779957 and when I do get a call from someone it is always from a different state and not in Maryland where I made the request. Could you help me out here or can I try a short sale or straight foreclosure and how long does foreclosure take in Maine? Maybe lower my payment with the 31 or 38 per cent like obama talked or is it time to walk?
When will I hear from the modification dept. for my request for a lower payment? I do get calls from reps but not the one I need to talk too. Thanks
