My house has sold, I just found out
I found out just yesterday that my home had foreclosed on the 7th of February. There was no other indication that they were planning on doing this. The mortgage company continued to send me my monthly statement and I had paid January on time, and sent in February just a few days ago. It will not be late until Saturday. I feel like I was not informed at all of the situation. I was late on my payments but had spoken to Countrywide stating the reason for being late (medical expenses, cutback on office hours, and car expenses) and they said they would work with me. I am in a better situation now and should be able to keep up with my payments. I can probably even manage to gather funds to pay the late fees and legal fees. I just want to get my home back as soon as possible. Thank you. I am a first time home buyer and I am not sure what to do from this point on.
