What else can I do, I have squeezed everything I can to make the payments
The house appraised as the house with 5 acres, not the whole 13+ acres. We spent aprox $25,000 on fence, hot tub, barn maintenance and pool. I believe it would appraise for more. The reason we fell behind was our 6 month old had open heart surgery in Oct 2006 and was diagnosed with DiGeorge syndrome we then fell behind 1 month, now we're having a hard time catching up. We are current on our mortgage, but foresee us not being able to pay the whole mortgage payment in Feb. I tried several times to work out a plan with Homeq and Equifirst(lenders only can't help) and it was unsuccessful. Our interest is 9.99% and is due to increase? in November. We originally used this lender to get into the home and were suppose to refinance in Jan but was 1 month behind already and couldn't find anyone to refinance with. I wanted to know what options we have, we downsized our vehicles and sold everything we can sell.
