I have reached my limit with Citi Residentail, I don't know what to do now.

January 22, 2008

I have reached my limit. Anytime I contact my lender, first of all your on hold for hours, then when you do get someone they don't know anything and have to transfer you, then you end up talking to a recording. Its very frustrating. I have nothing else left. I cant do this anymore. Please help me before I lose everything.

Isn't it frustrating being placed on hold for hours? It's like they don't give you the common respect of a real person.

i want to file a federal lawsuit against citiresidential. i have a mortgage with these bloodsuckers. i don't know what i can sue on but i have a very strong feeling there is something there. does anyone know a real sharp lawyer who could pick up on this?

I doubt there is one. Check out Citi's past/present litigation and the outcome, then....
you may be interested in what, (or who?) Citi owns, although it may be faster to track what they DON'T OWN!!!

I have had it w/ Citi Residential myself. They have posted one of my payments to an escrow account which made me late on my loan. They claim they never received my payments so they put me in a Forbearance Agreement which cost me $2,000 down and $1800 per month for six months after agreement was signed my previous checks that they claimed the never received were cashed. I want a law suit

I have had it with citi residential also. If you call them they keep transfering you to someone else that says there is nothing else we can do. I have had my house for 7 years but I can't take no more it's affecting my health. I think I am just going to walk away and maybe file bankrupcty. I would never of had a loan with citi if I hadn't been lied too.

I lived in Maryland, in a house worth 479,999, purchased in 2005 I had my own business and the mortgage company decided to approved my loan as stated income at that time. I paid my mortgage regularly till 2007 march, I lived there for more than two years, I left this property in 2007 june, I have upgraded this house and spent more then 6o,000. Is there any way that I could be able to get my expenses back from my mortgage company. Would you please help me and email me at leahpar54@hotmail.com

Refer to my comments on the "I can't get a straigt answer from Citi". you can't get past the customer service people and they are a bunch of idiots. They have people that can't answer questions in this department and even when they so call transfer you they still don't know what in the hell is going on. Yes, you can file a complaint with the comptroller of currency department on them. Not that this will do any good, but it might make you feel better.

Well i would like to join in on a class action suit.I reqested a Restructure in December, when they got to my application in February they "tranferred" me to American Home Mortgage who has also been stalling me. Who do we go to for holp. The President said banks would help us. .it seems they are helping us loose our homes - WHO CAN WE TURN TO??

I would also like to join in on a class action suit. My loan was transferred to AHMS in February and they claim I owe $760 in late charges, when I send all my paperwork over I keep getting a letter back saying "they lost it, please resend" and I can NEVER get anyone on the phone.

Citi Residential is no longer around. They sold my mortgage in February to American Home Mortgaging Service. Which is another company like Citi Residential. They screw you over BIG TIME.
