I have contacted HSBC and they don't care

January 10, 2008

We have been trying to regain our savings and credit since a 5 year law suit put us $50,000 in the hole. I just had hand surgery and am off work for 12 weeks. When I called both the mortgage companies to try and suspend 3 payments until May they don't care. We cannot make these payments and in June our mortgage goes up again. We pay over$2100.00 a month for both and we are slowly falling farther behind in our finances.

HSBC did not renew my homeowners insurance 6 months AFTER I re-financed with them (& req to stay with the same ins co.) HSBC force placed their ins on my mortgage. I have been trying for a year & a half to get this corrected. And they don't care at all. They have not made one attempt to contact me the correct this issue. Meanwhile they expect me to pay $1050.0 a mo for a mtg plus their ins.

In 2009 my mortgage will go up as well. There isn't a light at the end of the tunnel wither.

Last May we had everything in line to refinance our adjustable rate loan with HSBC. Unfortunately we had some unpaid interest on the loan that made our payoff approximately $11k more the house appraised for. HSBC was unwilling to negotiate and we were unable to come up with the additional out of pocket funds so now we're stuck in a high interest loan that we struggle to pay each month. We've owned our home for over 20 years but because of the poor market we have no equity in the home. We have put our blood, sweat and tears into this home and I lie awake every night, sick with the thought that we may lose it. Is there any light at the end of this tunnel? We feel like a tired swimming sinking a little more with every stroke.

Anyone looking for a Loan Modification seeking first reliable trustworthy specialist? We can get a rate lowered, payment lowered, forgive past lates and fees and even may reduce principal on mortgage. As long as the sheriff sale has not taken place I can help you save your home. If you have been on time or get behind I can get you a rate no higher than 5% and as low a 2%. Any situation that shows a hardship as well, can be done.

We to are with HSBC and they told us we don't qualify for a hardship or modification. They raise our payment from 720.18 to 1099.00 and Home equity line from 131.00 to 199.99. And of course they all ready deferred over 2000 in deferred interest and they say we owe by June 1 $2400.00 and we owe $600.00 or more for the home equity We to worked hard to maintain this home and we do not want to give it to them. Wheres the help the president said we could get. We have no money our credit is poor. We can't refinance because they say we don't have enough equity in our home and I do not think it is fair to have to give HSBC all this extra money they say we owe and not to see our mortgaged go down at all is frustrating. our interest is 9.23 on original mortgaged and home equity it is 13 or higher percentage. need help where do we turn?

We were only one month behind on our adjustable rate payment when I tried to get HSBC to modify our loan and all they did was give me the run-around! I couldn’t believe it when the guy on the phone (he was a big jerk!) actually said that my family shouldn’t eat so much because then we would spend less on groceries and would have more money to make our mortgage payment! He also said we should get a cheaper car and a bunch of other stuff that was really rude. This whole thing was keeping me up at night worrying about what was going to happen to us. I told my friend at work about this and she said I should call the loan modification company that got her loan modified down to 3.25% fixed interest rate! I finally decided to call them, and in about 45 days they got my interest rate down to 3.85% on a fixed rate too! The company is American Foreclosure Specialists and we are really happy with what they did for us. The website is afscanhelp.com. We chose them because they didn’t make a bunch of promises like some of the other companies and they had a 100% money back guarantee. I hope this helps some other people fighting with their loan company!
