I have been looking for help with National City to stop the foreclosure
January 10, 2008
I tried to work with an area agency in October was just told last week they couldn't help me. I have a insurance check for damage on the house that would bring the delinquency current, but mortgage company said it has to be applied for repairs, want to save my home can afford payments now filed bk in Oct 2006.

What is the extent of damage to the house? Is it something that could be done by a local (cheap but good) handyman? I am not a legal expert, but I would try to somehow apply the money to the mortgage and have work done at a discount and in small intervals, if at all possible
