I am in debt and may be on foreclosure with Countywide, should I stay or should I go?
I am not behind on my mortgage payments, but am in a situation where I have to do something soon (loose my house, bankruptcy, etc.). I have been separated from my spouse and things have gotten really bad financially. I am in debt with credit cards and am behind in paying on those. I can't afford to continue paying my house payment. I think I could do a debt repayment on my credit cards, but not with the current house payment. I am not against selling my house, but with the market the way it is am afraid I will end up loosing it before I could sell it and my credit will be so bad that I will not be able to find a place to live.
