Don't listen to your Mortgage Company if they tell you not to make a payment.

April 07, 2007

I am not familiar with the company Able Mediation. When a Mortgage Company tries to talk you out of working with a third party they should immediately be prepared to offer you a workout. If they don't, then you need to ask why. Don't let any Mortgage Company stall out the process. As was outlined in a previous post, letting them stall can be deadly to getting out of Foreclosure and keeping your home.

"I was working with Able Mediation and Everhome talked my husband out of it. We have tried to make payments the last three months and they said not to, to wait until we hear back from them. Here we are, FORECLOSURE has started, sale date is sometime next month. I make enough money to pay by mortgage with plenty left over. I have had four major deaths in my family within the last four year. My son, ******, Brother of 39,******, Mother and best friend, ****** and my Father, *********. So, please help if you can."

This is actually for a friend Everhome did'nt pay his taxes for 2 1/2 years the county sent him a letter saying they were going to sell his home in an auction he kept calling Everhome and they kept saying don't worry the taxes are being paid he kept calling the county office and Everhome the county office kept saying the taxes were not paid 15 days before the auction was to happen Everhome paid the taxes the frustration and mental anguish they put him through is wrong, Is there something legal that can be done or is the only thing he can do is get a refinancing loan through a better mortgage and get away from Everhome as fast as he can?

I think Everhome is playing games with people that have a mortgage with them, all they want to do is keep adding legal fees to your loan so you end you losing it,I really hope someone looks into this company and uncover how crooked they really are.....

They're telling me to not pay my mortgage payments until May! They said they're "modifying it!"
Nothing in writing though!
Now I'm 3 payments behind! I have to try to catch it up now.
When they 1st bought my loan- refused my payments and mailed them back to me... then put me in foreclosure! After 2 years of high payments and their legal fees I was out of forclosure... now look what they're pulling!

I refinanced from my Everhome ARM to a 30yr fixed 4 years ago. However my new mortgage company Purchaced the loan in May 15th ( new loan closed) Everhome says " Where is June payment, then Where is July? " They nicked my credit with 30+ late. Hello ?? You been paid in full! Now this "ding" is still haunting my credit.

I have almost the exact problem as you, but Everhome is starting Foreclosure on a note they have no entitlement in. I have gotten FHA involved, FHA does show in the system where Everhome received the payoff from Wells Fargo and is currently investigating Everhome.

Did you ever get your situation straightened out? Mine started on May 2, 2009 and like you they have reported it to the Credit Bureaus.

I will be working on fixing the credit report once FHA concludes their investigation.

Everhome is NOT there to help YOU!We, too, were behind in our payments but were told not to make a payment online "until we talked to" their Collection Dept. We were asked (told) "Why make a full payment when you could be able to make a smaller payment?"

Since we have been having financial trouble, that DID sound good to us since we thought we could apply any "extra" to our car payment.

We were a week away from the end of the month but waited for the "couple of days" to hear from their representative. When we did get a call from their collection rep but weren't home (Rep left msg with NO NAME and a phone number so fast we had to play the recording 5 times to get it just to know it WAS Everhome calling.)

Gee, guess what. We called back numerous times only to be put on hold or transferred to voice mail until we FINALLY were able to connect on ... wait for it ... the 1st of the next month!

That delay put us in the range of foreclosure - we wouldn't have been in that range if we had NOT taken the first Rep of Everhome!!

Not making that payment before the 1st caused us to lose the ability to pay a single payment online.

Following that advice caused us to have to provide them with "updated" credit info (that had NOT been asked for prior to our getting into the foreclosure range!!

WE ARE STEAMING MAD and intend to register complaints with both FHA and State offices that oversee Everhome Mortgage!

Our first mistake was not coming here to see home Everhome works only for themselves.

Our second mistake was being too trusting.

I hope you are reading this BEFORE you experience Everhome's horrendous and indifference to its customers.

Good luck to you!
