I can't control my spending, it has gotten me into foreclosure again
April 11, 2007
We have written about foreclosure is a symptom of a disease. That disease is bad financial fitness and many people have it. The lifestyles and the outside influences we encounter everyday don't have any kind of safety's built in. We live in a spend now and worry about how to pay for it later society.
The only way you can expect to climb out of foreclosure or any other financial issue that you are in the middle of is to get control of your spending. We have a Financial Statement that will allow you to see your current position and hopefully track your spending.
This potential client contacted us with the same issues. She has gotten into foreclosure for the second time... because she can't control her spending.
"This is the second time I have been in a possible foreclosure. I have been able to refinance,a but due to my credit the payments have increased and it is extremely hard to make. I would be able to manage even though my history may not show this if the payment was less. I am not sure if the last time I re-mortgaged if I was not a victim of predatory lending or if it was truly the only way to save my house. Additionally, I would need some budget management to get on track and manage my finances. If there is anything that you could do to help I would appreciate it. Please note that I am not able to speak freely at my desk at work, but if a time could be arranged ahead of time I could call you on a toll free number from a private spot. Thank you in advanced for any assistance you could offer. Additionally, I haven't received any formal paperwork as of yet, but I am sure it is not to far off."
