I have received calls from people saying they bought my house... is this true?

Foreclose is a very tricky situation to be in… sometimes we have heard of clients that have been foreclosed without their knowledge. This can't legally happen in a lot of states and is the main reason the homeowner must stay on top of the legal proceedings. If you are getting calls from someone that says they have bought your home at a foreclosure auction then you need to act quickly and find out with your local county courthouse if the sale has actually taken place. Foreclosure is public record and is easy to find out what has happened in each case. The Forecolsure Laws in each State are very strict and must be adhered to by the mortgage company.



”I I have someone who is telling me that they have already bought my home for foreclosure, however, I have been working with someone at my mortgage company to do a work out. They have been telling me that we were working things out. However, the person who told me that they have bought it, says that I have been talking with his "buddies" and they have been leading me on until such time that they can foreclose without problems. ”

The mortgage company should also know the sale has taken place. I have never heard of a national mortgage company leading someone on so they can sell the house and from under them. They don't make money by foreclosing on people and will only do so if it is the last option for them.

We have been trying to work with National City for 3 months. We have had a year of tragic situations. We get phone #s to call and no answer and no voice mail. We get transferred from one person to another,leave messages and rarely get a call back. We have gotten rude & threatening responses from staff when we have tried to work out a reasonable settlement with them. We have followed all of their instructions as to how to come to an agreement of how to handle our inability to pay these monthly payments. We have a second mortgage with them, so if they want our home, they can have it after paying the primary mortgage off. It really doesn't make sense or would be profitable for them. They have been offered a short sale on the property which would give them much more than if it goes to foreclosure or the possibility of us simply filing Chapter 13, in which case they will get nothing. Sounds to me like this company is predatory on trusting people like us and hope that we will fail to make the payments so they may profit from our failure. Doesn't make sense in our case though, as they will ultimately lose. We faxed 28 pages to the fax # they gave us, got a confirmation that it was sent, and the rep says she got nothing!!! I say she is lying or where did our personal info go??? We are outraged with how they have treated us!!!

This is true that the sale has taken place .It‘s really have no sense or would be profitable for them. They should offer a short sale on the property.
