I am in the middle of a divorce and cannot afford my mortgage payment.
A divorce will often lead to financial situation that ends in foreclosure. Many people contact us that are in a divorce where a house ends up in the middle. They are now left with trying to pay for a house on one income and find it very difficult.
”I went through a divorce and I've had the home for sale for almost a year, I don't want the house back but I would like more time to be able to sell it. ”
We can contact Wells Fargo and try to negotiate a forbearance for you. If you cannot afford the mortgage payment a lot of times the mortgage company will allow you some time to sell the house and avoid foreclosure. They may put you on reduced payment plan for six months to allow you some time to sell the house.
