Act fast if behind on your mortgage but don't file bankruptcy
”If you fall behind in your mortgage payments, it's important to take action. Talk to your lender and seek a good bankruptcy attorney. ”
I recently read an article where they recommended if you got behind on your mortgage payment to contact a Bankruptcy attorney. This may be an option but it should always be a last. There are many options to get your loan current other than bankruptcy. 70% of all bankruptcies fail within the first three months… so just do the numbers. Allow us to go to your mortgage company and negotiate a settlement where you can remain in your home and make your mortgage payments again.
