I was out of work for sometime

February 11, 2007

Alabama foreclosure

This is an actual comment from a client:

"My Husband was out of work and we got behind on our bills. He is now working full-time and we are trying to get back on track, but our credit is already ruined. This was my grandparent's house, and I just can't lose it, not for any reason. I have been trying to come up with the money to reinstate my mortgage, but I don't have that kind of money. I thought it would be able to sell some land that I own, but I can not. That would take too much time and I don't have but a very few days."

We need to figure out here is they can afford the mortgage payment or not. If they can't the alternatives that we would have would be limited but not eliminated. If you truly can now afford the house we have some options and would be glad to discuss them with you.

If they can't afford the house and just need help getting caught up then we can easily get them workout and bring the loan back to a current status.

Even if the situation seems bleak there are many options available. Always remember the mortgage company does not want to foreclose any more than you want them to foreclose. The closer you get to the sale date the more options are typically available for you.

Can you afford the home?
If yes than we can go to them and get them to offer you an affordable plan. Please submit a free questionnaire to us and we will see what we can do for you.
