They put me on a repayment plan I could not afford

February 17, 2007

Pennsylvania foreclosure

As an actual comment from a client:

"My husband company went belly up, we got behind, I made an arrangement with the mort. company, and then he got sick, I missed one arranged payment and they kicked me off the plan. They refused to accept any paymeny made and asked for an astronomical amount of money for a new plan. I just could not afford it, now they want it all and I can not come up with it. If we could get this straightened out some how we could make our monthly payment. My husband is working regularly and so am I. We could get back on track, we just need the help to get there."

This is a perfect example of someone we can definitely help and get their mortgage current. If you have suffered a temporary job loss or reduced income but have now rectified the problem your mortgage company will be willing to work with you. As long as we can show you can now afford the house through a financial portfolio we can get a repayment plan approved for you. This repayment plan will be developed from your financial portfolio and will be something that you can afford.

we are a family of 6 and going to be out on the streets because they put us on a repayment plan we could not afford, our interest is so high, if they would lower the intrest we could make the payments, so much for giving people a chance

The same thing happen with me and i try to send in a full payment every two weeks and they will not accept. I call them three times a week and no return calls. I started off 2 months behind and because they will not accept payment now I am 6 months behind

Same thing happened to us, said they were going to help us with a modification,no one would answer our questions. kept putting us off until we were 90 days late and no one else would want to even consider helping us. There figures did not make any sense even to our lawyer, we lost our home to foreclosure. (they still sent us a statement after it had been in foreclosure of how much to our payment was in order to get caught up, but legally we couldn't pay it, they would have just pocketed the money!!!)

I too am a victim of Saxon Mortgage. I have been in a run around with them to have a modification done on my loan terms. They say that because I can't afford my home, why should they do a modification? Please visit this link: http://maps.google.com/maps?hl=en&ie=UTF-8&q=saxon+mortgage&near=Fort+Worth,+TX
(it's a google map link) Next to saxon's name click on "1 Review" and then in the map window click on "write a review". You may need to have a google account to do this, but the more negative publicity that we can give this company online, the better!

Thanks for the url on google I will post on all search engines. I hope no one will ever go threw what they have put us threw. and with a little work o will ever have to again. They need to be investigated seriously, CROOKS.

These guys are crooks and most obviously guilty of preditory lending. They put me on a repayment plan at exactly my monthly income, then when I lost my second job they refused to lower the rates. I'm now borrowing upto $1000 dollars a month just to keep my family in a home. I talked to them (only because I knew someone on the inside who had personal extensions) and the lady basically told me to pay up or get out it doesn't bother them either way. I'm sick of this what do they expect they couldn't realistically expect us to pay our exact monthly income for this repayment plan. I got caught in this for being gullible and willing to do anything to keep a roof over my kids head, but I'm not sure how much longer I can tread water. If anyone knows where one can find help, please let me know.

I took feel that we are victims of Saxon mortage.they will not consider a fixed rate.
And they continue to raise the rate that makes it impossible to keep up with the payment. I am not late but I feel this is impossible. They don't communmicate within the company and they continue to disrepsect customers just because they carry their loan.

We have our mortgage with Saxon Also.

We fell behnd 7mos due to illness and they filed forclosure papers in Ohio, where our home is.

We had called many many times within that 7most to pay them whatever we had that month and they refused to take payment saying "hold on to that and then pay us when you have the full amount." Even if we said we could pay two months worth of mortgage they wouldnt accept it. We ended up getting in deeper with some unexpected medical issues that happened.

We called them and they said we could apply for a loan modification and if approved it would change some terms, possibly the rate and then extend the loan by several months and put the delinquent amount at the end of the mortgage.

They also said we could to a 30% down and then the rest delinquent would be spread out over 7 months and combined with our regular mortgage payment.

We would prefer to do the modification and are sending in the financial paper work this week along with the hardship letter.

I am now worried with all that I have read and I am scared to send them money etc.

Has anyone had a loan mod with Saxon?

Thank you for your time and any insight!

I forgot to mention that they filed the forclosure mid October 08
