This is an actual comment from a client:

"Our home is in foreclosure they are offering a repayment plan where they want us to pay 2000.00/mo for the next year. It then will be back to 970.00 they also want us to put 5000.00 up front along with the repayment plan please help thank you "

this is another clear example of needing someone to help you negotiate an adequate repayment plan. It's a repayment plan the mortgage company as you on is not something you can afford... it will fail. Doubling your monthly paymentmay be something some people can afford but typically it will put someone in a financial bind and cause them to default. a realistic payment plan must be developed with your entire financial portfolio in hand.

The mortgage company will most likely offer you multiple chances to catch the loan up but eventually they will wash their hands and allow the property to foreclose. You can't afford to playing with fire and allow them to a preview for repayment plan you know you can't afford. It will eventually catch up to you and they may not give you another chance.
