I know I can afford my payments, but they won't listen
Illinois foreclosure
This is an actual comment from a client:
"My husband lost his job in September. He was not able to get unemployment. My father-in-law passed away in December. I have been calling the bank agency assigned to my loan since November but he has not returned my calls. My husband is back to work and we are now in a position to continue our monthly payments but not able to catchup with back payments as of right now. I was serviced on 1/17/2007."
We must show the mortgage company you can now afford your mortgage payment. We do this by presenting them a financial portfolio which would show your current financial situation. You can download a sample financial worksheet and completed it to ensure that your monthly income exceeds your monthly expenses. If at the end of the worksheet you show a surplus left over at the we can definitely get to work out and bring your loan current.
