I became ill and got behind the my mortgage
Louisiana foreclosure
This is an actual comment from a client:
"I became ill during the month of June, 2006 and had to miss a month of work. I work on a base salary + commission. This month off significantly decreased my income and took months to build back up. I've missed two payments and resumed regular payments after the two delinquent months. I spoke with Countrywide and they made payment arrangements which I was unable to meet. I am back on track with my finances but too late. I received a letter from an attorney today stating that they are beginning foreclosure procedures. Please help!!!"
Even as the foreclosure has been started by your mortgage company's attorney we still have plenty of time to get things worked out. As long as we can show the you can afford your house and have a down payment to present to the mortgage company we can get you approved for a workout and stop the foreclosure in its tracks. A hardship of a temporary loss of income is a perfect example of a hardship that the mortgage company will accept.
