A divorce caused me to get behind
Texas foreclosure
This an actual comment from a client:
"I fell behind in June of last year and missed 2 payments....I have kept up with all payments since then. I went through a divorce. My new house payment just went up again. Fees from those 2 months are mounting up."
The one thing when stressed over and over is we have to show you can afford the house. If we can show you can afford the house and have a reasonable hardship we can get this worked out for you with your mortgage. We can typically get them to take 25 to 30% of the delinquency as a good-faith payment and then the remaining portion either put into a repayment plan or a loan modification.
Wells Fargo does not want to foreclose will only do so if they must. If you cannot afford the mortgage payment then the only other option left is to sell the property or let it foreclose. Please call us and we can go over your options.

Does the Divorce qualify as a hardship and if it does can the bank sue you for deficiencies between the mortgage amount and and the net proceeds from the auction of the home?

I have come to realize you work for this company. Duh moment for me.
The emphasis is. Show that you can afford this house. I could afford this house and still can afford my house. The initial repayment plan of $518 which if you investigate all the comments I have made you will become familiar with what I am talking about. I was able to afford and made. Not willing. But I made them. It wasn't until Wells Fargo and another Duh moment that should have been caught by the company the first month I sent the duh payment in according to the monthly statement I received. Now over a $72.00 and my duh moment which of course the company won't be declared as having a duh moment because they are national/possibly international business. That has the power to do anything want basically. From the things I've read and the things I know your support of Wells Fargo needs some adjusting because they do not want to work with there clients. I have tried desperately to work with them. There are no options. They lay the rules U follow them or get out. There power a big corporation that nobody wants to take on. Quite frankly I wish I really wish I knew how many low income or even other wise people have been forced out over a meager amount less than a $100.00 that quote. I was willing to pay. I was a miss understanding. That shouldn't have happened that could have been adjusted. Please forgive me for my sarcasm it is directed to Wells Fargo only an the misguiding belief that they do not want to force anyone out of there homes.
