We have waited and waited for them to help us with the foreclosure, now what?
We have filed for hardship with our mortgage company in hopes to get a repayment plan or loan modification. We waited over 3 months to hear anything, and today we received certified letters of their intent to foreclose. We are desperate to keep our home. We have 3 children, and had a very rough year that caused us many set-backs financially. We can't catch up at this point, though have continued to send mortgage payments while waiting to hear from them. Even if we can postpone the foreclosure for a few months it would be helpful. We planned to send in a lump sum of 3-4000.00 when we receive our income tax refund in February. We have no other alternatives. We can not take a loan because of our poor credit history. Also, we filed a Ch. 13 bankruptcy in May 2004, which has been paid off, but has not yet been discharged. IndyMac was not included in the Ch. 13. We are confident that once we make a payment to bring us current, that we can keep our payments on time. It's just getting us through the next few months..is there any chance you can help?
