I had a phantom offer to avoid the foreclosure
I was working w/an agent up until 2mos ago. Her daughter passed away and she has been unreachable. The last time I spoke to her she told me that an investor had made an offer on my house and that she had faxed it over. I haven't heard anything since then. She instructed me not to contact the bank because she was taking care of everything. Now, I don't know what to do.... I moved out of the house because I was under the impression that it was in foreclosure and she had found a buyer. I need some direction......what steps should I be taking now?
