I don't want to lose my home to foreclosure, my husband will not help me...

December 17, 2007

Husband left in September of 2006 and WILL not help pay for the bills. He refuses to pay Court Ordered child support. Husband quit job so he wouldn't have to pay my health insurance. I am responsible for all of the bills except for the 9000 2nd mortgage,: these are mine: 1st mortgage (167,000), car insurance, utilities, credit card debt created while we were together, and over 25000 in medical debt stemming from the birth of our son. I've lost my job , i have a 3 year old and must keep utilities going. Bills are all 2-3 months behind due to his lack of responsibility. I need advice and help quickly.

I hope you find the help you need. I am going through a similar situation right now. My husband was diagnosed with MS and was out of work for 6 months, we got behind on some bills and my township raised our local taxes 32%. We weren't able to pay the taxes on time, the mortgage company paid them and now have doubled our mortgage payments to cover the amount paid and escrow future taxes. I have called all the numbers that our government says to call to avoid foreclosure and no one can help. I have been in my house for 14 years and my children are now getting ready for high school....I am sick over this and cry all the time. I pray some resolution comes...good luck to you, my prayers are with you.
