Cancer and foreclosure... not a good time for this
December 31, 2007
I lost my job due to illness (brain tumor). I spoke with a Specialist and she said that they will help me repay the past due. Is there a way they can restructure the loan? please help.

I have not worked in over a year. I have two small children, 3 and 6 months. I had complications throughout the whole pregnancy that caused me to not be able to work. I was so sick most of the pregnancy, I had to go to a specialist weekly or sometimes bi-weekly. I was hospitilized because I couldn't hold down food or drink, not even water. This was through half of the pregnancy. I couldn't drive, walk from my bed to the bathroom. I couldn't take care of my son, sometimes I couldn't even shower. I thought that after my baby was born that I would be working back at my old job or a previous old job, but that didn't work out due to lay offs and a contract being near the end. I had been applying for jobs since I was pregnant and haven't found anything yet. My credit has always been good up until this point because of the house. All the jobs that I had been working on required credit checks, that's how I make my living. No foreclosure programs will help me because I don't have a job. My only income is my child support for my 3 year old (not much to live on). I have to come up with 6,000 by April 9th and I don't have it. If anyone can help, please let me know. Pregnancy is not considered something tragic, but I didn't have a normal pregnancy or cervix. My pregnancy was just horrible and all of the events that followed.
