Business is slow... Ocwen does not seem to care
We called Ocwen as soon as we realized we were going to be 30 days late on the mortgage.we explained to them that business was slow, medical bills due to the fact nobody will cover our daughter born with clubfeet, work truck repairs and back in july my husband had a appendectomy and was off work for 3 weeks with no pay .so all these things put us in a whole.they said there was nothing they could do and told us to pay the 3600.00 under forbearance or pay 8000.00 to get out of forbearance.ocwen has been marking us 30 days late every other month we found this out when we tried to refinance we have not been late and have always paid our mortgage on time until we got with this company and they screwed us over.its hard paying these medical bills and having truck repairs all the time due to the fact that my husband is a driver and trying to keep up with a 4000.00 mortgage due to the arm loan forbearance is 3600.00 and our equity loan is 414.it seems like every time we think we are going to get caught up something happens and ocwen won't do anything.we don't want to lose our home we have 4 children and love our home.ocwen made it so we can't get out of forbearance and has yet to send us a copy of this agreement.

The other issue I had with Ocwen was I disputted my second mortgage. Ocwen was willing to write that off. It was for $32,000. What they did was sent that amount to the IRS as income on my behalf, which I did not receive that amount. Ocwen did not send my any papers to do this or to claim on my taxed. I get a letter from the IRS stating I didn't claim the $32,000 on my taxes as income. I explained to them what happened and provided all my documentation. I was told I had to speak to Ocwen about it. Ocwen refused to speak to me about this issue. I also found they were charging me for insurance. When I confronted them on this they told me to provide documentation where I had been paying my insurance for the last 3 years. The insurance company provided them the documentation that was requested. It was determined Ocwen owed be over $4000. I was told I would be issued the money within 15 business days. That was 2 years ago and I still have not received the money. I had thought that maybe the posted the money to my arrearages but they didn't do that either. I fight with them every month to get that money or at least have it posted to the arrearages and to no avail nothing. Go figure right. Ocwen doesn't want to help anyone but themselves.
They are rude, inconsiderate, have no customer service skills, are uncompasioniate, and just plain do not care.
Do they not realize by taking our homes back in this economy it will be sitting empty for a while and they will be out more money than if they would just do a loan modification. Better to loose a little money than lots of money.
In my opinnion if Ocwen keeps on the track that they are on it won't be long and they will be out of business. They have already been sold 2 times in the last few years plus been sued a few times.
