If I am late on a Forbearance plan payment will they cancel it?
December 31, 2007
I am going through a divorce and was having trouble making my mortgage payments. I was setup on a 6 month hardship plan and I made three payments on time. I was a few days late on the next payment, but they said that I defaulted on the hardship plan. I desperately need help by January 7th, 2008 to keep my house, if at all possible. If not, how long do I have to get out after the sale date?

grrrr, this company irritates me
ok as i wrote earlier a short sale may be option
but its early do me a favor please and do it today as soon as u read this...because i didn't know..and it would have saved me
call your local community services tell them your situation and that u are considered a month behind on your mortgage...they may be able to help you get caught up...then call all your local churches you could even as community services of any organizations that might be able to help you...tell the same..if i would have known this a year ago ..i won't be in these shows...please don't let pride get the better of you...if you can't get caught up with them. Consider bankruptcy first..it will save your home depending on which one you do...if that option isn't a good one consider a short sale...look online for realtors that deal with short sale or investment properties...this is only YOUR last option and do it AS SOON AS you get a notice from wells fargo listing all the options...theres 4 listed. reinstatement of the loan...loan medication...pre sale..tax lien/deed
An don't forget to email me and let tell anyone else u know with almost the same story to please do the same...
An above all. Try to stay positive and think good things through this nightmare.
Sincerely,
Cathy
