Foreclosures in California are on the rise

May 16, 2006

The latest statistics are showing an increase in Foreclosures in the State of California. Lending institutions sent out over 15,000 default notices the fourth quarter of 2005 (This was up almost 20% from the previous quarter) and over 19,000 default notices in the first quarter of this year (an increase of over 25%). This number is alarming and only projected to get worse through this year.
