I can’t get a hold of my Mortgage Company to get this worked out

October 09, 2006

Oregon foreclosure

This an actual request from a client

“I have spoken with Option One too many times to count. They refuse to help in any way. They have been totally uncooperative and call all day long. I do not want to lose my home. I owe $211,000 on this mortgage and owe August, September and now October payments. I have a second mortgage (current) of $200 a month ($13,000).”

We have staff that is on the phones with Mortgage Companies all day long. We can get something worked out for you to bring your loan current.

Have experienced a difficult time as all families do and Option One does not seem to care. Have applied for two loan modifications to which both were kicked back for various reasons (last one no one can explain to me WHY it is needed). And when sent faxed to them called daily to ensure all papers were received - told yes. Ha! Many calls have been dropped, disconnected etc, and can never speak to the same person. Home Retention specialists are from Jacksonville Florida, California and INDIA! If you call EARLY eastern time you will get Jacksonville and they are "ok" - at least you can understand them. Those in California have a strong accent and those in India do not care. Set to lose my home in 2 days due to foreclosure sale, and do not know what to do. Will be homeless because the only thing they want is past due amount and will not work with me at this point.
